A word of caution. The contents on this website contain MAJOR spoilers regarding the adventure path, Way of the Wicked, by Fire Mountain Games. Please read NO FURTHER if you intend to play in this adventure. If you intend to run this adventure, please see the "Behind the Curtain" section detailing system mechanics & reviews of the product, Way of the Wicked. And this author's personal suggestion, support Fire Mountain Games by picking up a copy of their incredible adventure path.

Behind The Curtain

A game, especially a game designed & written for Pathfinder, can be plagued with problems of mechanics, player balance, etc...  Below I attempt to give my take on how to handle it.  As well as an assortment of other thoughts & observations about walking a group down the path of the Wicked.

My hope is that other potential GMs of Way of the Wicked can get some use out of my insights.  It should be noted, some sections below contain even more spoilers than normal.  And so the normal disclaimer applies here more than most.  If you are in or are thinking of being a player in a Way of the Wicked game, please do not read anything beyond this point.  That rule especially applies for any of MY players!  Major spoilers abound.  Turn away now!

Still here?  Well, below are links to various topics.
  • More the Marry-er (A look on the game written for 4 players, but ran with 5-6)
  • ENnie Nominated! (My personal review of the ENnie Nominated, Way of the Wicked Adventure Path.
  • Golarian Ho!  (Ways to set the game in the pathfinder world, or another home world, and why)
  • All That Glitters (Treasure, a key component of any Pathfinder game)
  • Making it your own (Possible ways to modify the Way of the Wicked.  Including both the options I decided to run with & those I passed up, but would strongly consider)
